As Australia emerges from the pandemic, millions are poised to quit their jobs - though many are preparing for an even bigger change. Labelled as the ‘Great Separation’ in the media, new research is forecasting that there will be tens of thousands of couples that will separate as we enter 2022, with the Covid-19 pandemic having been most likely the catalyst.
A study undertaken in October from the app, Amica, found that one in five couples blame the pandemic for ruining their relationship, while one in 12 have considered separating.
