Tahnie holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney. Tahnie was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 2022, and has gained extensive experience and knowledge of a number of practice areas including Family Law, Criminal Law, Wills, Power of Attorney and Guardianship, and Civil Litigation.
Following Tahnie's graduation with a Bachelor of Communication, Tahnie first commenced work with us at VRT as a Law Clerk in 2019 whilst completing her Bachelor of Laws. Tahnie has also worked and gained valuable experience in roles at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, as well as an Associate to a Justice of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Tahnie particularly enjoys advocacy work and is experienced in robustly representing clients in Court. With frequent and regular court appearances, Tahnie has developed exceptional advocacy skills and professionalism when representing all VRT clients. Tahnie is passionate about her practice areas and prides herself on her enthusiastic, empathic and approachable personal style which our clients find of great benefit in their cases.
Outside of practising law, we are proud to have Tahnie as VRT's resident DJ for many various functions we hold, as Tahnie is a passionate music enthusiast! Tahnie has worked as a DJ since she was 18 years old. Tahnie also enjoys speciality coffee, reading classic novels, going to the beach and music concerts to see her favourite artists perform.
