Tyson holds a Diploma in Law and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Tyson was admitted as a solicitor in 2022 and joined VRT Lawyers in 2015 as a paralegal.
Tyson has a strong passion and knowledge of the law and is an effective advocate, regularly appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Local Court of New South Wales and the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Tyson's practice areas include Family Law, Wills & Estates, Adoption & Surrogacy, Care & Protection Guardianship, and Commercial Law.
Tyson is known for being down to earth, level-headed, objective and for being able to develop sharp and effective strategies to ensure the best outcomes for clients. He also believes that compassion, objectivity and confidence are imperative to effectively provide for clients who are quite often at the most difficult crossroads of their lives when they seek our advice and assistance.
In a past career, Tyson was a Cabin Crew with Virgin Blue (as it then was) and Virgin Australia, which, apart from giving him a catalogue of highly entertaining stories, has given Tyson develops strong and effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and other legal practitioners.
In his free time and away from Court, you will find him in and on a different kind of Court, playing either squash or netball, which as rumour has it, he isn't too bad at.
